Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)
- What is DMarketplace?
DMarketplace is a Web3 crypto commerce platform for digital products: you choose a gift card or a travel eSIM, pay with cryptocurrency and receive the gift card code by email or the eSIM installation details in your order. Payments are executed on-chain, with reduced reliance on intermediaries such as banks or centralized payment processors.
- What products are available on the platform?
Digital gift cards from hundreds of brands, for example for shopping, gaming, travel, food and entertainment, and travel eSIMs with mobile data for more than 200 destinations.
Physical products such as Web3 merchandise are not available at the moment. The portfolio is continuously expanding based on demand and partnerships.
- Which regions are supported?
We currently offer gift cards for the United States, the United Kingdom and Germany. Some cards are marked as worldwide.
Gift cards are region-locked: a card can usually only be redeemed in the country it was issued for, often on an account registered there. Every card shows its region and currency, and the shop lists the cards that match the country you select in the header.
Check the region before you buy. A card bought for the wrong region usually cannot be redeemed, and getting around region locks can void refund rights.
- How do I pay with crypto?
Checkout opens Request Network's secure payment page. Choose a supported payment currency and network there. The exact payment amount and any fees are shown before you pay.
You need a crypto wallet to pay.
- Can I pay with $DMP?
Not at the moment: $DMP cannot be used as a payment method at checkout yet.
- In which currency are prices displayed?
Prices appear in the display currency selected in the header. Your checkout total is always shown in a regular (fiat) currency: the one selected in the header, or your local currency if you display prices in crypto. The DMP amount underneath (or the crypto you picked in the header) is a reference value.
Crypto reference amounts are estimates based on the latest available exchange rate.
Your exact payment quote is shown on the payment page before you confirm. If it expires, request a new quote.
- What are the delivery times?
Gift cards are delivered digitally: you receive the code or a claim link by email. Delivery starts automatically once your payment has been confirmed.
Some orders are checked by our team before delivery, for example large orders from new accounts or payments that do not match the order amount. Delivery then continues once the check is complete; if the order is declined, it is not delivered and your payment is refunded.
If you have an account, delivered codes are also shown under Orders in your account.
- Do I need an account?
No. For gift cards you can check out as a guest with just your email address, and the code is sent there. With an account or a connected wallet you can see your orders and delivered codes at any time.
- Who sells the gift cards?
All gift cards are currently sold and delivered by DMarketplace. The codes come from our gift card supplier and are issued by the respective brands, which handle redemption and their own customer service.
- How are refunds handled?
Gift card codes cannot be returned, exchanged or refunded once they have been delivered or revealed. The exceptions: a code that is demonstrably invalid when delivered, an order that is not delivered (for example because it is cancelled or declined in our review), which we refund, and cases where mandatory law gives you a right to a refund or replacement.
Approved refunds are paid in USDC on Base to the wallet you paid from. Blockchain settlement can affect how quickly funds arrive.
- What if my code does not work?
Contact us right away in our Telegram community or at support@dmarketplace.ai and include your order number (never the code itself). A demonstrably invalid code is one of the exceptions to the no-refund rule for digital codes.
Redemption itself is governed by the issuing brand: if a valid code cannot be redeemed, for example because of the account region, the brand's customer service is responsible.
